With the X820 drone, Dahua also offers such a camera drone, which once again underlines the innovative strength of the Chinese company.
The four 768-watt rotors accelerate the drone to a maximum speed of 90 km/h and brace themselves against up to 14 m/s headwind or crosswind. Due to the light carbon housing, the drone weighs only 3.3 kg and can be loaded up to a maximum weight of 10 kg. The batteries of the drone allow a maximum flight time of almost 40 minutes.
The GPS (also Beidu and GLONASS) based control system allows a maximum flight altitude of 1500 meters and a range of 5 kilometers.
The 6k camera attached to the underside can be panned and zoomed using a separate controller (PC Ground Station). The controller is able to receive the film shots from a distance of up to 10 km and save them directly to the 500 GB hard disk built into the system.
The fields of application for the drone with the price of an upper class car are manifold and almost unlimited, such as border surveillance, in agriculture and forestry, fire fighting or disaster control, up to the inspection of wind power plants or high voltage pylons or lines.
