The Quality Awards survey conducted in the United States ranked Spectra Logic first in the Midrange and Enterprise product categories. The surveyed tape library users ranked Spectra Logic libraries ahead of Dell, HP, IBM or Sony systems.
The Spectra Logic tape libraries were rated best in the categories of consulting expertise, product quality, product features, reliability, technical support and general satisfaction with the question of whether users would choose the product again. In the latter category, the US manufacturer even scored an impressive 95%, putting its competitors at the bottom of the table.
"We are honored to be recognized by Storage Magazine and SearchStorage.com as the pinnacle of quality for tape libraries in the midrange and enterprise categories," said Nathan Thompson, Spectra Logic's CEO. Several quality improvement programs have been designed to improve customer satisfaction in recent years. The results were consistently analyzed and had an impact on product development as well as on consulting and service. "Spectra Logic has built its sales and service departments on achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and it is gratifying to receive confirmation of this success from the quality survey participants," Thompson added.
INCOM has added Spectra Logic's products in 2011 and will showcase the tape robots at CeBIT 2012 in Hall 3, Stand D33.
